Diane Litchfield, Volunteer Coordinator, and Val Dick, Volunteer, of Hospice Renfrew, accept a cheque for just over $1,000 presented by Mary Schmieder, representing Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville. The money was part of the proceeds raised at the Eganville Spring/Easter Cantata held in Grace Lutheran Church on Sunday, June 19. Proceeds were also donated to the Eganville District Senior Needs Association. Included in the proceeds were donations and grants from Faith Life Insurance and the Grace Lutheran Endowment Fund.
Shohanna Watson ( R ) presents 200 dollars to Hospice Renfrew Board Chair, Connie Legg (L). Shohanna raised the money at her grandparents recent birthday celebration through a 50 / 50 draw. Shohanna was inspired by her late great grandmother to raise the money to help patients at the hospice.
Hospice Renfrew is very grateful to eleven year old Shohanna for her thoughtfulness and generosity.
