Hospice Renfrew Volunteer and retired Registered Nurse Dorothy Moore receives the 2017 June Callwood Circle of Outstanding Volunteers award at the Hospice Palliative Care Ontario Conference in Toronto.
Hospice has been blessed to have had Dorothy as a support to our residents, families and staff for the past 9 years. Dorothy, even though retired from her profession as an RN, can’t shake her passion for caring for people! She handles all tasks with grace and humility making everyone around her feel her warmth and compassion. Her can do attitude is inspiring to all who have the pleasure of working with her. Dorothy is a true ambassador promoting hospice palliative care wherever she goes.
